Maria Farmer, one of the earliest accusers of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, claimed Monday that Epstein once said he and Trump were “best friends.” In her first television interview since filing her lawsuit, she told CNN Epstein said he "inherited" Trump in his divorce.
Farmer recounted a troubling encounter with Trump at Epstein's Manhattan office, where she felt uncomfortable due to his behavior. According to Farmer, Trump made a "vulgar" comment about her. Although she did not witness any criminal conduct by Trump, she expressed concern about his association with Epstein and suggested that authorities examine individuals within Epstein's circle.
Asked about Trump and Epstein's relationship, Farmer told host Erin Burnett: "Like Epstein once said, he inherited him in the divorce. You know, he said, basically you're going to see us together all the time. We're fixtures because in the divorce I inherited Trump and Ghislaine [Maxwell] inherited Ivana [Trump]."

She continued: "It was just it was a known thing, like among the staff and everyone, that they were best friends. And Epstein bragged about it." Farmer added she "gave up 30 years to report this."
"And it's a very serious thing to fight the government, you know, it's it's been unbelievable," she said, adding that she has been pursuing the case while fighting two cancers.
On Sunday, Farmer revealed in an interview with The New York Times that she urged the FBI to investigate Trump in connection with Epstein's activities as early as 1996.
The White House has denied that Trump ever visited Epstein's office, stating that he had distanced himself from Epstein years ago.
