GOP star witness Jonathan Turley was a huge disappointment for House Republicans hoping to impeach Biden

On Thursday morning, September 28, House Republicans held their first hearing in an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden.
It remains to be seen, however, whether or not the inquiry will eventually lead to a full House vote on any articles of impeachment.
Right-wing media pundits were happy to see George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley being featured as a witness, but the Daily Beast's Josh Fiallo notes that House Republicans' "longshot attempt to impeach" Biden "got off to a rocky start" with Turley's testimony.

Turley testified, "I do not believe that the current evidence would support articles of impeachment. That is something that an inquiry has to establish."
The law professor added, however, "But I also do believe that the House has passed the threshold for an impeachment inquiry into the conduct of President Biden."
