Alex Jones texted wife’s naked picture to Roger Stone: Sandy Hook lawyer

Last Wednesday, InfoWars conspiracy theorist founder Alex Jones' defense lawyer accidentally sent the contents of Jones' phone to Mark Bankston – one of the attorneys representing the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre victims who successfully sued Jones for defamation – as the trial was proceeding.

On Thursday, the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol issued a subpoena for two years' worth of text messages. CNN reported on Monday that Bankston had handed over the data.

Whatever was contained within Jones' device has not yet been made public. But right before CNN broke the news, Bankston revealed to The Young Turks that he discovered that Jones had sent a naked picture of his wife Erika to Republican operative-turned-January 6th witness Roger Stone.

"Mr. Jones said that there was an intimate photo of his wife on the phone. That I can also confirm. That's true. And I normally wouldn't talk about that in public but there is a public interest thing angle into this, is that I'm a little concerned about it. Because that intimate photo was sent to Roger Stone," Bankston said in an interview.

"And I don't know if that was consensual, and if it wasn't consensual, Mrs. Wulff Jones should know about that and there might be something that needs to be done about that. And again, it could be totally consensual. But when I see that, and I don't see any indication that it was, I'm concerned something might not be on the up and up with that," Bankston added. "There are certainly laws in certain states about that."
