Alec Baldwin Brutally and Hilariously Mocks Trump's Press Conference on SNL

In a hysterical skit that felt just one notch above our sad reality, Alec Baldwin returned to "Saturday Night Live" to mock President-elect Donald Trump's press conference (if you can call press-bashing and lawyer-parading a press conference). 

In SNL's thinly veiled version, Baldwin's Trump spoke about what will happen when he takes office Friday: "I'll even have a little pet, like all the presidents do... I'll have Paul Ryan. I mean, I'm not gay, but I cannot wait to give it to that man for four years."

The skit played on Donald Trump's planting of his staff to applaud during the press conference (as Baldwin called them, "those people over there who I definitely did not pay to do that"). Cecily Strong (as Trump's tax lawyer Sheri A. Dillon) gave a delightful take on how weird it was for Trump to bring his lawyer to his first press conference in six months (props to the props department on the fake papers displayed as evidence of Trump's divestment of his businesses). Baldwin also delivered some zingers to the media.

After an impressive display of pee-related puns related to the unsubstantiated dossier alleging that Russia blackmailed Trump with a golden shower sex tape, things went a little nihilistic. Sasheer Zamata (playing a reporter) asked about Trump's plan to repeal Obamacare without enacting a replacement for the "20 million people [who] will lose their health insurance" and "could die!" Baldwin's reply? "Honey, I'm about to be president. We're all going to die."
