Despite President Donald Trump’s slated appearance at this year’s pro-life “March for Life” rally, his own spiritual advisor prayed for the miscarriage of “satanic pregnancies” in a recent sermon posted Friday by Right Wing Watch.
As seen in a video of the sermon, televangelist Paula White, who serves as special adviser to the White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative, called on Jesus to “command any satanic pregnancies to miscarry right now.”

In response to White’s sermon, the Church of Satan pointed out that “asking your imaginary friend to terminate someone else’s pregnancy against their will is pretty messed up.”

And James Martin SJ, a Jesuit priest and writer, noted “no one should ever pray for any woman to miscarry.”
No pregnancies are satanic. Every child is a gift from God. No one should ever pray for any woman to miscarry. No one should ever pray for evil or harm to befall another person. Jesus asked us to pray for our persecutors, not to curse them. To love our neighbors as ourselves. https://t.co/EZq9BwLV0v

Jennifer Gunter, an OB/GYN, asked White to send her the “spell book” on satanic pregnancies.
Hi @Paula_White I am an OB/GYN and would love to learn about satanic pregnancies. Can you send me the spell book (I promise to Venmo the $) so I can learn?

People who pray for women to miscarry their babies are not praying to God. They are partnering with the devil. https://t.co/li3W9RSSsx

Maybes it’s just me, but commanding someone to miscarry doesn’t seem very pro-life in my book… https://t.co/bvmgNgjfQI

“ responses below:
Every pregnancy is sacred apart from those that are “satanic”. They can just go ahead and miscarry: a pretty vile thing to say in a world where women do miscarry.
This woman is a regular visitor to the White House, and advises Trump on “faith”.

Just retweeted this with snark and need to delete it. Her ‘pro-life’ bullshit isn’t even relevant. Praying for people to miscarry? It’s so deeply fucking evil. https://t.co/yACktvtXUv

I think that there is a more effective way to spread Jesus’ name than to suggest that he would have wanted certain women to miscarry their children. Miscarriages hurt a lot and I don’t think that as mere mortals, any mortal should be wishing that for another mortal. Good night❤️

Ok, now I am really confused. The lunatic White House faith advisor is calling for some at risk (satanic) pregnancies to miscarry. Does this mean they are not really pro life? What exactly is a satanic pregnancy anyway? https://t.co/5qg5MYnKxD

I want everyone to understand that what she is praying for is that all non-Christian pregnant women miscarry their babies https://t.co/Nj8KN3boWx

Paula White just asked God to miscarry all the babies of Trump’s enemies. And no I’m not making that up. pic.twitter.com/ByTidhCSWg

weird question but did anyone else suddenly miscarry their satanic pregnancy today just like out of nowhere
— Rose O’Shea (@ladyastronauty) January 26, 2020
Ohhhhh, so when I had a vanishing twin, one of the fetuses was pure evil and so God deemed that I miscarry? I always wondered what happened. Thank you @Paula_White for showing me the light. https://t.co/UcgqdgQxtq
