Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani was just forced to get his own lawyer

It's never a good sign when your lawyers need lawyers.
But that's the circumstance President Donald Trump found himself in on Tuesday when reports broke that Rudy Giuliani had lawyered up.
Jon Sale, who served as a prosecutor during Watergate, is now going to be working for Giuliani, the former New York mayor who joined Trump's team to defend him during the Russia investigation.
“I’ve just gotten involved,” Sale told Politico. “It’s very complex. We’re just starting to analyze what position we should take.”
On Monday, Giuliani was subpoenaed for documents by the House Oversight Committee, House Committee on Foreign Affairs, and House Intelligence Committee as they conduct investigations into Trump's efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden. Giuliani is likely to be a key focus of the investigation, as he has been vocally outspoken about his efforts to affect Ukrainian investigations since May, despite sharp criticism.
Trump has run into trouble caused by his own lawyers before. It was an investigation of his former attorney Michael Cohen that uncovered the criminal hush money payment scheme to help his 2016 campaign, which prosecutors say Trump directed in the run-up to the election.
