CNN hilariously skewers Trump's press secretary after she tried to mock the network for a minor error

On Thursday, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham chastised CNN for showing a map that incorrectly identified Alabama as Mississippi and the state just west of Georgia — apparently sour from the criticism President Donald Trump received for refusing to back down from his erroneous weekend claim that Alabama was in the path of Hurrican Dorian.

In a snarky tweet, Grisham told CNN, “I know you guys are busy analyzing lines on a map, but perhaps you use your time to study up on U.S. geography?”

CNN’s response was just as snarky.

The CNN Communications account tweeted, “Thanks, Stephanie. Yes, we made a mistake (which we fixed in less than 30 seconds). And now, we are admitting it. You all should try it sometime” — an obvious reference to Trump’s refusal to admit his own mistake.

The 43-year-old Grisham, who formerly served as press secretary for First Lady Melania Trump, took over as White House press secretary in early July after Sarah Huckabee Sanders resigned from that position.
