President freak out: Trump goes ballistic in early morning tweetstorm ahead of Mueller testimony

President Donald Trump did not appear as a man with nothing to hide, a man who truly believes the Mueller Report reached a "No Collusion! No Obstruction!" conclusion as he's insisted since Attorney General Bill Barr came to town to run interference and protect him.

Wednesday morning Trump took to Twitter to release his anxiety upon the American public. He is in full freak-out mode.

Trump is angry the former Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, made a last-minute request that was granted: "Aaron Zebley, a top aide on Mueller's team, will sit alongside him as counsel, but is not expected to be sworn in before the House Judiciary Committee," NBC News reports.

In other words, Mueller will have protection, and another source on-hand to help in his testimony.

It's making Trump apoplectic.

Trump's tweeted already five times this morning, but his tweetstorm began Tuesday night at 10:29 PM with this explosion that concluded with "Rigged Witch Hunt!"

He continued early Wednesday morning, calling the Mueller investigation – which includes his probe into how Russia attacked the U.S. elections – "treasonous."

6:50 AM: "a very innocent President"

7:03 AM: "Democrat Never Trumper lawyers" and "Greatest Witch Hunt in U.S. history, by far!"

7:36 AM: Mueller apparently hired more investigators after the investigation was concluded. Trump generally calls them the "13 Angry Democrats," which is false.

7:53 AM: Pence willing to lie? Trump knows his VP would never have to testify under oath.

7:55 AM: CRESCENDO!

Trump's goal – which means many Republicans across the nation have these talking points – is to discredit Mueller, the Mueller report, and to falsely paint the investigation itself as tainted, or even illegal.

It's clear this president has a lot to hide, and fears today he will be exposed.
