Bob Woodward: The real crisis of the Trump presidency has nothing to do with Bill Barr or the Mueller report

Legendary Watergate reporter Bob Woodward disputed top Democrats’ claim that the Trump administration’s handling of the Mueller probe constitutes a constitutional crisis and directed Democrats to focus on more egregious wrongdoing, such as reports that President Donald Trump failed to pay his taxes for years and his actions on the global stage.
“It’s a constitutional confrontation, I don’t think it’s yet a crisis,” Woodward told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. Woodward was responding to Rep. Jerry Nadler’s (D-NY) claim that the refusal to hand over the full un-redacted Mueller report constituted a crisis and the start of a tyranny in the US.
He noted that in addition to Trump not paying his taxes, a far more terrifying scenario than the failure to release the full Mueller report is Trump mishandling a global crisis.
Woodward warned of a “governing crisis” related to Trump’s governance on issues ranging from North Korea to Iran.
“All these balls in the air,” he said. “And they are being juggled by perhaps the most unsteady hands we’ve had in the American presidency, ever.”
