Congratulations to Devin Nunes' Cow! The parodic attack Twitter account now has more followers than Rep. Devin Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee and the man the account was set up to expose. Using lots of dairy and agricultural puns, like you do.

The reason for the jump in followers from around 1,200 to more than 410,000 is Nunes' own lawsuit against Twitter, the Cow, and another account called Devin Nunes’ Mom. Nunes also named Republican operative Liz Mair. Sadly, Devin Nunes’ Mom has been suspended, so we don’t know how many followers she would have racked up. The accounts in question are neither Nunes’ cow nor Nunes’ mom, of course, but rather existed to troll him to the point where he trolled the entire world by suing Twitter for $250 million for letting people be mean to him.

And now, more people are watching a fake cow be mean to a real member of Congress than are watching that real member of Congress lie about Donald Trump, Democrats, and “#StrawPolice socialists.” It’s not quite the comeuppance Nunes deserves, but it’s at least worth a giggle of schadenfreude.
