Trump Foundation to dissolve after legal action by New York Attorney General

On Tuesday, New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood announced that her office had secured an agreement in court for President Donald Trump's charitable family "foundation" to shut down for good, putting an end to yet another Trump-branded scam and dealing a fresh blow to the president:


The Trump Foundation, which is also the focus of a tax investigation that reportedly may result in criminal charges, has come under fire for using charitable money for Trump's personal benefit, including to buy expensive portraits of himself and even settle litigation against his for-profit businesses.
