Fox News Host Shuts Down GOP Senate Candidate Claiming Trump Isn't in Legal Jeopardy: 'Michael Cohen Did Implicate the President'

Republican West Virginia Senate candidate Patrick Morrisey tried to spin the news about Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort during a Wednesday Fox News appearance. And the host shut him down.
“One thing I can see already, and the Mueller probe proved, is that there was no collusion,” Morrisey said. “And so, this has been a witch hunt for a long period of time.”
Fox host Eric Shawn jumped in to point out that he hadn't asked anything about collusion with Russia, only the claims from Cohen about President Donald Trump directing an illegal campaign donation.
“Look, I can’t speak to the motivations of someone who may have multiple charges against him, is trying to cut a deal,” Morrisey responded. “But so far, I can tell you this: No one so far has directly implicated the president.”
Shawn wasn't having it.
“Michael Cohen did implicate the president,” he said.
