Fox News Draws Anger For Calling Democratic Candidate 'Grandson Of Terrorist'

Ammar Campa-Najjar is a young small business owner of Mexican and Palestinian descent, who previously worked in President Barack Obama's Department of Labor.
He is also the Democratic candidate for California's 50th Congressional District, a deeply red district just outside San Diego, and has Obama's endorsement. After months in relative obscurity, he is suddenly considered a strong contender for flipping the seat, now that longtime Congressman Duncan Hunter is under indictment for spectacular misuse of campaign funds.
But in their headline about him, Fox News chose to lead with a much more inflammatory point: that he is the grandson of a Black September terrorist who helped plot the 1972 Munich Olympic attack.
