Army Veteran Calls Trump Campaign Operative 'Monumental Idiot' or 'Extraordinary Liar' for Praising Trump Summit with Kim Jong-un

An adviser to President Donald Trump' 2016 campaign was taken to task by a prominent U.S. Army veteran after tweeting criticism of the president's critics following the summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

“Crickets from the left…can’t wait to see what @NicolleDWallace & @SteveSchmidtSES have to say," Healy Baumgardner wrote in praise of Fox New host Laura Ingraham's juvenile tweet about MSNBC coverage of Trump's summit.

Veteran Fred Wellman quickly responded with an assessment of his own.

“The fact that you think this was a success means you are a monumental idiot who knows nothing about North Korea or an extraordinary liar,” Wellman tweeted. “Either way no one with half a brain thinks DPRK repeating lies of the past while we unilaterally give up joint exercises is a ‘win’.”
