ABC’s Roseanne Barr ‘Now Leaving Twitter’ After Apologizing for Racist Attack on Obama Adviser

ABC star and ardent Donald Trump supporter Roseanne Barr on Tuesday said she is leaving Twitter after facing backlash for a tweet attacking Valerie Jarrett, a former adviser to Barack Obama.

In a since-deleted tweet, Barr on Tuesday called Jarrett the baby of the “Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes.” A few hours later, the sitcom star said she’s “truly sorry” for the “bad joke.”

Barr said she’s now “leaving Twitter” following her attack on Jarrett.
