Watch: Frances McDormand Asks Every Female Nominated in Every Category to Stand at Oscars

Frances McDormand won her second Oscar for best actress on Sunday, and delivered a memorable speech.

After delivering a list of thanks, she asked every female nominee in the theater to stand, and encouraged them to work with each other.

“Look around. We all have stories to tell and projects to finance,” she said. “two words: “Inclusion rider.”

Host Jimmy Kimmel knew he had a tough act to follow.

“I really hope Frances McDormand wins an Emmy for the speech she gave at the Oscars,” he joked.
