Trump Stays Silent After Kentucky School Shooting That Kills 2, Injures 17 Others

By Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump was still nowhere to be found. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters at a regular press briefing that the president had been briefed and offered condolences on behalf of the White House.
Around the time of the shooting, Trump was busy tweeting in defense of his chief of staff John Kelly and criticizing Democrats over the government shutdown.
