Melania Trump Is Reportedly 'Furious' Over Payout to Stormy Daniels

First Lady Melania Trump “was furious with her husband” Donald Trump after reports his lawyer Michael Cohen paid off Stephanie Clifford, the porn star known by her stage name “Stormy Daniels.”

As the New York Times reports, Melania Trump is “expected to resurface” for Trump’s “State of the Union” address Tuesday. But the First Lady last week canceled a trip with Trump and spent the weekend “relaxing at the spa” at Mar-a-Lago.

Two people close to the couple told the Times “few episodes” in their tumultuous relationship “have roiled the peace as much as the news surrounding” Daniels.

The report comes after Melania Trump’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, on Sunday slammed what she described as “flat-out false reporting” regarding the First Lady.

“The laundry list of salacious & flat-out false reporting about Mrs. Trump by tabloid publications & TV shows has seeped into ‘main stream media’ reporting,” Grisham wrote. “She is focused on her family & role as FLOTUS—not the unrealistic scenarios being peddled daily by the fake news.”
