Kellyanne Conway's CNN Interview with Chris Cuomo Was a Total Disaster

Kellyanne Conway, a White House adviser to President Donald Trump, made an especially terrible Wednesday appearance on CNN with host Chris Cuomo.

Conway went on an extended rant about Hillary Clinton, and while discussing the former Democratic candidate, seemed to forget that she had brought Clinton into the conversation.

“The idea that we would have to look any further than Hillary Clinton to beat Hillary Clinton itself is a fantasy,” Conway said, despite Clinton's name not being immediately relevant to the discussion of Russian election interference. “I didn’t need to talk to anybody in Moscow — I was talking to people in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina and Macomb County, Michigan.”

“There’s no reason to have gone anywhere outside of Hillary Clinton and how unattractive her policies were,” Conway continued, adding without irony, “[S]o many people can’t get over the election results.”

“Says my friend who can’t keep Hillary Clinton‘s name out of her mouth,” Cuomo responded.

“We don’t care about her, nobody here talks about her,” Conway shot back. “[N]obody talks about Hillary Clinton.”

“You just brought her up,” Cuomo reminded an increasingly flustered Conway.

She tried to segue to the opioid crisis, which went about as well as could be expected.
