Don Lemon Cuts Mic After Guest Insults Him On-Air While Defending Trump

During a discussion about President Trump's racist "sh*thole countries" remarks, conservative radio host John Fredericks decided it would be a good time to make racially charged remarks about CNN host Don Lemon.

“Well, Don, it’s not about race, as you like to make it,” Fredericks said. “That’s easy and lazy. It’s about economics."

Fellow guest and Republican Rick Wilson gasped, then Lemon began to speak.

“Are you going to just cut me off, Don?” Fredericks interrupted.

“Yeah, we’re going to cut you off,” Lemon responded, while gesturing to the control staff. "Can we please cut him off? Can we take him off the screen?"

Lemon brought Fredericks back later in the conversation, but only let him speak after laying out the ground rules.

“I’ll be damned if I’m going to sit here and let you insult me,” Lemon said, before suggesting an apology was in order.

While Fredericks did apologize, he returned to his belligerent behavior before the segment concluded.
