Republican Senator Says Trump Is Only Attending a GOP Policy Lunch for the 'Photo Op'
President Trump is attending a GOP policy lunch on Tuesday. At least one Republican senator is not excited to dine with him.
Sen. Bob Corker of Nebraska told NBC that the president is only attending the lunch so he can take a picture with the lawmakers.

Trump's presence is meant to signal support for a GOP tax plan, which has gotten off to an incredibly slow start.
As GOP factions predictably dissolve into infighting over big-ticket legislative items, the White House has not shown a firm enough grasp of policy and dealmaking to achieve major legislative victories.
Corker has repeatedly expressed frustration with the dysfunctional Trump administration and the GOP leadership. He recently tweeted that the White House had become an "adult day care center" with the sole purpose being to babysit Trump.
It's a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning.— Senator Bob Corker (@Senator Bob Corker) 1507475623
