New CNN Ad Fights Trump with a Single Piece of Fruit

CNN is not backing down in the fight for facts against the administration of President Donald Trump.

A new ad campaign finds the news organization dismantling the concept of "alternative facts" while making sure the audience knows the target is Trump by referencing his tendency to tweet in capital letters.

“This is an apple. Some people might try to tell you it’s a banana. They might scream, ‘Banana, banana, banana,’ over and over again," the ad says over an image of an apple. "They might put banana in all caps. You might even start to believe this is a banana. But it’s not. This is an apple.”

The words "Facts First" appear on the screen before being replaced by the CNN logo.
