Racing Legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. Shows Solidarity with NFL Players Protesting Trump

While various NASCAR owners threatened to fire drivers who protest during the national anthem, one of the most recognizable faces of racing in the world is taking the opposite stand.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. tweeted about the importance of nonviolent protest on Monday. He quoted JFK in saying that trying to silence peaceful revolutionaries paves the way to violence and that all Americans have a right to peaceful protest.

NASCAR is often considered one of the most conservative organizations in the world of sports. President Trump tweeted his support for NASCAR after being informed that many members were taking his side about NFL players kneeling during the national anthem.

We'll see if he feels the same way after he hears what Earnhardt has to say.
