GOP Congressman Couldn't Answer Basic Trump Tax Plan Question

Things got a bit embarrassing for Rep. Tom Reed (R-NY) when he appeared on MSNBC to talk about tax reform and a meeting between President Donald Trump and lawmakers.

Host Stephanie Ruhle had a single question: "You met just yesterday with President Trump at the White House and talked tax reform. What can you tell us about that meeting and what specific details did President Trump share about the plan?”

Reed tried to ignore the question. Ruhle repeatedly cut off his prepared talking points to remind him that she'd asked one.

Despite her best efforts, Ruhle didn't get anywhere with the Republican congressman.

Apparently, the real answer is that Trump's full of hot air and doesn't have a serious plan.
