WATCH: Weird Al and John Oliver Beg North Korea Not to Nuke Us

This week, John Oliver devoted nearly his entire episode of "Last Week Tonight" to the subject of North Korea.

Oliver highlighted the unparalleled human rights abuses, bizarre cultural artifacts and dangerous nuclear ambitions of the isolated country. He also drew parallels between possible U.S. military action and failed U.S. regime change in other unstable nations.

Then things got weird.

Weird Al Yankovic appeared at the episode's close to perform his newest polka, "Please Don't Nuke Us, North Korea." From our geographical stupidty to our love of Tom Hanks, Weird Al pleaded with the North Korean people to consider that maybe Americans are not so bad.

The song is hilarious, but we're still terrified.
