Trump Retweets Alt-Right Activist After Publicly Disavowing White Supremacists

On Monday night, hours after delivering a speech decrying neo-Nazis and the KKK, President Donald Trump retweeted one of the country's most prominent white nationalists.

While Jack Posobiac denies being a member of the alt-right, he is one of the chief perpetrators of the Seth Rich and Pizzagate conspiracy theories. He also tweeted his support of the Unite the Right march on Google.

Trump has a history of embracing repugnant figures when they support him or boost his ego, and Posobiec is no exception. Trump retweeted his comments on violence in Chicago, suggesting that the news media is giving too much attention to the domestic terror attack in Charlottesville.

Despite the White House's efforts to reset the narrative by having Trump deliver prepared remarks denouncing racism, his Twitter feed is clear evidence nothing about the man has changed.
