Terror in Charlottesville: Car Rams into Anti-Racist Protesters at White Supremacist Rally

In what appears to be a deliberate move, a car plowed into a large group of people protesting a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Multiple injuries were reported Saturday afternoon. The injuries range from minor to life-threatening, authorities said. According to Charlottesville Mayor Mike Signer, one person has been killed.

I am heartbroken that a life has been lost here. I urge all people of good will--go home.

“Charlottesville Police and Virginia State Police are on the scene of a three vehicle accident at Water and 4th Streets in Downtown Charlottesville,” the Charlottesville Police Department confirmed.

After police in riot gear dispersed crowds ahead of the “Unite the Right” following an eruption of violent clashes between white supremacists and anti-racists demonstrators, counter-protestors assembled in Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, D, had earlier declared a state of emergency following the violent eruption.

— ACLU of Virginia (@ACLUVA) August 12, 2017The night before Saturday’s incident, white supremacists marched with tiki torches through the University of Virginia campus chanting “white lives matter” and “blood and soil.” Armed white supremacists, led by alt-right leader Richard Spencer, have gathered in Charlottesville to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.“They’re fucking gassing us. The fucking Jew lovers are gassing us, man!” one alt-right protestor told Fox News on Saturday.

I would recommend you take a good look in the mirror & remember it was White Americans who put you in the presidency, not radical leftists. https://t.co/Rkfs7O2Ykr
