Don Lemon Holds Nothing Back in Rant Blasting Trump's 'Embarrassing' Phoenix Rally

“Well, what do you say to that?” That's how CNN's Don Lemon responded after President Donald Trump ranted for nearly an hour and a half on Tuesday night in Phoenix, Arizona.

Lemon described Trump's freewheeling polemic by saying, “What we have witnessed is a total eclipse of the facts, someone who came out on stage and lied directly to the American people and left things out that he said in an attempt to rewrite history, especially when it comes to Charlottesville.”

Trump lied about the number of protesters outside the event, his own response to the Charlottesville terror attack and even the recording status of media cameras in the arena, to name just a few of his falsehoods.

“He’s unhinged, it’s embarrassing, and I don’t mean for us, the media, because he went after us, but for the country," Lemon said.

The CNN anchor further described Trump's words as “without thought, without reason, devoid of facts, devoid of wisdom."
