Republican Congressman Slammed for Recording Grotesque Video in Front of Auschwitz Gas Chamber
During a recent visit to Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland, a Republican congressman inexplicably recorded a video message to Americans in front of a cremation oven.
The footage has drawn the ire of social media as well as the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, which condemned Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) for using the gas chamber "as a stage." Visitors are encouraged to maintain silence out of respect for the approximately one million Jews who were murdered at the camp during the Holocaust.

This is not Higgins' first brush with controversy. Last month, the House Homeland Security Committee official and former police officer declared on Facebook that “all of Christendom... is at war with Islamic horror."
"Kill them all," he wrote of every “radicalized Islamic suspect.”
“This is why homeland security must be squared away, why our military must be invincible," he says in his newest video address.
“The world’s a smaller place now than it was in World War II. The United States is more accessible to terror like this, horror like this. It’s hard to walk away from gas chambers and ovens without a very sober feeling of commitment, unwavering commitment, to make damn sure that the United States of America is protected from the evils of the world.”
