Samantha Bee Has a Birthday Present for Trump He Won't Soon Forget

Remember when Donald Trump loved the polls? "Full Frontal" host Samantha Bee sure does.

For his first birthday as commander-in-chief, "America took up a collection and got POTUS something that we know he likes," Bee opened on Wednesday. "A Gallup poll."

President Trump's disapproval rating as of Monday, June 12, was a whopping 60 percent—up from 56 percent the week prior. That number is even more alarming when compared with those of other historically unpopular presidents.

"Even though he's only four months in, Donald Trump has already hit a higher disapproval rating than most presidents before him *ever* had," notes Princeton University professor Kevin Kruse, who offered a bit of historical context on Twitter this week:

"Happy 71st, 45. Let us know when you get tired of winning," Bee quipped, before recapping Attorney General Jeff Sessions' Senate testimony on Tuesday. "We'll be over here, watching America's hottest summer replacement series."
