Seth Meyers Knows Exactly How Trump Can End the Speculation About His Russian Ties

As President Trump continues to push a fake scandal concerning Barack Obama's wiretapping of Trump Tower, one thing is for certain: "Trump is clearly bothered by the mounting questions about his potential ties to Russians," as Seth Meyers noted in Monday's "Closer Look" segment of "Late Night."

For instance, Trump continues to obsess over Hillary Clinton's performance during the primaries, as demonstrated by his tweet Monday:

Seth Meyers broke down his idiocy.

"First of all, [Clinton] received questions in advance and it was during a Democratic primary debate, not the general election," Meyers pointed out.

"Second of all, if someone did give her the answers, maybe you should thank them," he suggested. "Because she didn't pass."

Trump could easily put the speculation about his ties to Russia to rest by releasing his tax returns.

"But apparently he gets his taxes done at H&R c*ckblock," Meyers quipped.

During his presidential campaign, Trump's excuse for not releasing his tax returns was that he was under audit.

"But his 2016 returns, the ones that are due in less than two weeks, can't possibly be under audit yet," explained Meyers. "So, if there's no audit excuse for these returns, why won't the White House release them?"
