'Saturday Night Live' Tweaks a Certain Kind of Trump Protester in New Short

On Friday, "Saturday Night Live" delivered an early gift to Trump resisters in dire need of a laugh—a new comedy short marking the show's Snapchat debut. The video is exclusive to the platform, but a sneak peek is making the rounds on social media and beyond.

Comedians Aidy Bryant and Beck Bennett play a pair of activists eager to pat themselves on the backs for attending an anti-Trump protest. Exhausted, they hop into an Uber to go home and "veg" before quickly realizing their mistake.

"Oh no, look at Twitter," Bennett says. "It says Uber CEO is working with Donald Trump."

"What?!" exclaims Bryant. "Then we can't take an Uber! I'm sorry, sir, can you please let us out?"

With #DeleteUber trending, they hop into a Lyft instead, praising the company: "They gave $1 million to the ACLU."

Then Twitter delivers the news that Trump supporter Peter Thiel is an investor in Lyft. And round and round they go.

To see the video in its entirety, you'll have to check out SNL's account using the Snapchat app (the video is displayed on the Featured Stories list for now, but will disappear within a day, as all posts on Snapchat do).
