Trump Fans Are Furious After Jake Tapper Posted a Bible Verse About Lying Being a Sin

On Thursday morning, CNN’s Jake Tapper took it into his head to tweet a Bible verse about the sin of falsehood.

Tapper quoted the Book of Proverbs, Chapter 12 verse 22: “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.”

As noted, the CNN anchor didn’t mention any names, but fans of Pres. Donald Trump got very defensive very quickly.

CNN's Jake Tapper discusses the aftermath of the U.S. presidential election on Chelsea Handler's show.
