The List Just Keeps on Growing: Two More Women Say Donald Trump Sexually Assaulted Them

Two more women went public Friday with allegations of sexual assault against Donald Trump, including a former contestant on the Republican candidate’s reality show “The Apprentice.”

Summer Zervos, who appeared on the show’s fifth season, spoke Friday at a press conference in Los Angeles alongside her counsel, the high-profile civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred. Breaking down sporadically as she read her statement, Zervos described an encounter with Trump where the billionaire took her to a Beverly Hills hotel room and kissed and groped her.

Zervos said she reached out to Trump in 2007 to inquire about a job opportunity with the Trump Organization. According to Zervos, she met with Trump, who kissed her on the lips at the beginning and end of the meeting. Zervos said the encounter left her feeling “nervous and embarrassed,” but after consulting her friends and family, she decided to pursue a job with Trump and met him for dinner at his request. Instead of meeting at a restaurant, Zervos said a security guard led her to a bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Zervos—who is a Republican—described a scene in which Trump aggressively kissed her and fondled her breasts. As she rebuffed his advances, he allegedly told her, “let’s lay down and watch some telly-telly.”

“He put me in an embrace and I tried to push him away,” Zervos said. “I pushed his chest to put space between us, and I said, ‘Come on, man, get real.’ He repeated my words back to me, ’get real,’ as he began thrusting his genitals. He tried to kiss me again, and with my hand still on his chest, I said, ‘Dude, you’re tripping right now.’”

“He said, ‘What do you want?’” Zervos continued. “And I said, ‘I came to have dinner.’ He said, ‘OK, we’ll have dinner.’”

Zervos said Trump’s demeanor changed and he became angry when he realized she wouldn’t engage with him. The two shared a sandwich and then she left the hotel. In the aftermath of the incident, Zervos said she “wondered if the sexual behavior was some kind of test, and whether or not I had passed.” Trump eventually refused to give the former "Apprentice" star a job, citing thousands of layoffs at the Trump Organization.

The Washington Post revealed a separate allegation against the Republican candidate Friday; Kristin Anderson, an aspiring model in the early 1990s, claimed Trump touched her genitals without her permission. Anderson said she was sitting on a couch in a New York City nightclub when suddenly, someone's fingers “slid under her miniskirt, moved up her inner thigh, and touched her vagina through her underwear.”

"This is the vivid part for me: The person on my right who, unbeknownst to me at that time, was Donald Trump, put their hand up my skirt,” Anderson said. “He did touch my vagina through my underwear, absolutely.”

According to the Post, Anderson was originally hesitant to tell her story; the news organization contacted her after learning she had told close acquaintances about the incident over the years. Her lack of interest in publicly exposing Trump also throws a wrench in one of the campaign’s major defenses; namely, that many of these women are only accusing the candidate of sexual assault in order to get famous.

At a rally Friday—held, jarringly, at the same time as Zervos’ press conference—Trump brushed aside mounting claims of sexual harassment, though he had yet to learn about his former contestant’s accusations against him. Trump said he’s “never met these people,” and “doesn’t know who they are,” though in Zervos’ case that claim is patently false.

Trump also launched a vicious attack against another woman who charged the candidate with sexual assault. Wednesday, People magazine writer Natasha Stoynoff wrote about a 2005 incident where Trump forcibly kissed her while his wife Melania was upstairs at the couple’s Mar-a-Lago estate. In his stump speech, Trump implied that because of her appearance he wouldn’t have sexually assaulted her:

“Why wasn’t it part of the story that appeared 20, or 12, years ago? ... I was one of the biggest stars on television with 'The Apprentice,' and it would have been one of the biggest stories of the year. Think of it. She’s doing this story on Melania, who’s pregnant at the time, and Donald Trump. Our one-year anniversary. And she said I made inappropriate advances.

"And by the way, the area was a public area. People all over the place. Take a look. You take a look. Look at her. Look at her words. You tell me what you think. I don’t think so. I don’t think so.”

Trump’s predatory sexual behavior has been on blast since last Friday, when a video tape surfaced featuring Trump boasting about sexual assault. During Sunday’s second presidential debate, Trump denied ever having done the things he was bragging about in the video. By all accounts, his categorical denial of ever committing sexual assault inspired a growing number of women to come forward with allegations against the Republican nominee.
