Rudy Giuliani’s Daughter Publicly Supports Hillary Clinton
As former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani continues his slow moral descent into nearly-as-outrageous-as-Donald-Trump territory, at least one family member refuses to fall in line. Caroline Giuliani, the daughter of one of Trump’s most vocal apologists, is “pro-Hillary all the way,” according to her Facebook page.
Politico reports Caroline is using a profile picture featuring Hillary Clinton’s forward H logo; she also posts multiple photographs in support of Clinton, and set the #ImWithHer slogan hammer as her cover photo on the social media site.
While her father is making the media rounds this election cycle to spread straight-up lies in an effort to elevate the Trump campaign, Caroline told Politico she “loves” Clinton.
“I think she's by far the most qualified candidate that we've had in a long while," Caroline Giuliani said. She noted her dad knows about her support and thinks she has a right to her opinion. “I was for Barack in 2012,” she added. “[Dad] knows and is fully comfortable with it.”
In 2007, Caroline Giuliani was forced to remove support of Barack Obama from her Facebook page, as her dad was also running for president himself. "Before the presidential campaign got underway, Caroline added herself to a list on Facebook as an expression of interest in certain principles,” a spokesperson said at the time. “It was not intended as an indication of support in a presidential campaign and she has removed it. Caroline is not commenting on the 2008 election."
