Colbert Nails Trump Lapdog Rudy Giuliani for His Bogus Conspiracy Theory Peddling

Stephen Colbert really hopes the presidential candidates are "feeling okay." After all, the job they're gunning for is pretty tough. But despite both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump being on the older side, Trump has been perpetuating the right-wing myth that "Hillary Clinton is too ill, too frail to be commander in chief," Colbert said Tuesday night.

So how do we know the truth?

"Well, former New York mayor and guy who took away your Times Square porn, Rudy Giuliani, has a simple suggestion," Colbert told the audience before replaying a clip of Giuliani being interviewed on Fox News Sunday.

"Go online and put down 'Hillary Clinton Illness,'" Giuliani said. "Take a look at the videos for yourself."

"Yes, Giuliani says, just diagnose Hillary on the internet," Colbert retorted.  "If it's on the internet, you know it's true. For instance, I put my symptoms into WebMD and found out I've started menopause."

Colbert took Giuliani at his word. "I googled 'Hillary Clinton Illness' and this is true, the first result is 'Giuliani fuels Clinton health rumors again and again.'"

That gave Colbert an idea.

"So let me get this straight. Let me explain this to you. Here's what's happening. Giuliani says she's not healthy and you can look it up on the internet, and when you look it up on the internet, it says that Giuliani says she's not healthy and you can look it up on the internet. It's a loop. It's like a snake with its tail in its mouth, or a man with his head up his own ass... By the way, something you used to be able to see in Times Square before Giuliani came along."

Brutal. But Colbert wasn't done yet.

"Im not surprised that he was able to diagnose Hillary so accurately without examining her. After all, Giuliani and Donald Trump are experts on female anatomy," Colbert joked.

"It's true, it's true," the host insisted. "Just look at this actual video the two of them made."

Colbert proceeded to show a now-viral clip of Trump and the former NYC mayor acting in a sketch which was part of the mayor's Inner City Press Roast in 2000.

"You know, you're really beautiful," Trump tells a drag-clad Giuliani in the clip. "A woman that looks like that has to have her own special scent."

"Maybe you could tell me what you think of this scent," Giuliani says, spraying perfume. Trump proceeds to motorboat the former mayor, who slaps him.

"Oh, you dirty boy!" exclaims Giuliani. "Donald, I thought you were a gentleman."

"Now, obviously that's shocking and you're going to want to verify that video," Colbert told his "Late Show" audience after showing the clip. "Just go online and put down 'Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, drag queen, motorboat.'"
