As the Number of Black GOP Delegates Falls to Historic Low, Meet a Few of the Only Ones Left

According to the Republican Party’s own data, only 18 of the nearly 2,500 delegates are African-American. That’s less than 1 percent. As recently as 2004, 7 percent of Republican delegates were black. On Wednesday night, Democracy Now!’s Carla Wills tracked down some of the 18 African-American delegates.
