WATCH: George Lopez Crushes Trump's Wall on Colbert: 'We Got Tunnels!'
Comic and talk show host George Lopez joined Stephen Colbert on The Late Show last night and talked about his disappointment about Bernie Sanders’ recent losses, having been one of his strongest supporters.
“It started as a “bern,” it might be a simmer,” Lopez told Colbert, when asked about “feeling the bern."
"It might be something you cook on the back of the “berner” but it’s still around,” Lopez added, referencing Sanders pledge to remain in the race until the Democratic convention.
“What about some of the other candidates?" asked Colbert. "As a Mexican American, are you feeling Trump at all? Or as a Mexican American, can you judge him fairly at all, because as you know he’s building a wall,” Colbert joked, mocking Donald Trump’s recent attack on Gonzalo Curiel, the federal judge presiding over the Trump University lawsuit.
“Building a wall; You’re right. But I got news for everybody—we got tunnels!” Lopez said.
Trump apparently has forgotten to address this factor.
“Trump says ‘the Mexicans love me.’ Well, let me tell you. I’m Mexican. We don’t!” Lopez exclaimed.
