Watch: Bill Maher and Sarah Silverman Lambast 'Completely Fact-Free' Fox GOP Debate
Sarah Silverman, an avid Bernie Sanders fan, and Bill Maher went to town on the "fact-free" GOP debate on Fox the other night, and both wondered why Hillary and Bernie can't debate all of candidates left in the race right now. That, they agreed, would at least inject some facts into the discussion, since the Fox moderators showed little interest in fact-checking.
And sorry, Megyn Kelly sticking it to Trump about Trump University does not quite get there.
"Megyn Kelly, if you're such a serious person," said Maher, "ask one question about the environment."
The candidates did enjoy talking about the services and regulations they'd love to cut, though.
"Only at a Republican-only debate can you be trying to win over the audience by saying I'm going to cut education," Silverman exclaimed.
Not to mention the fact that no one challenged any of the candidates who were debating in Detroit, right near Flint, Michigan, about the fact that they would love to cut the agency that might have caught the water problem before it poisoned all those children.
