SNL's Brilliant 'Bern Your Enthusiasm' Sketch Imagines Larry David as Bernie Sanders

Ever since Bernie Sanders began his long-shot bid for the White House, people have noted the similarities between him and Larry David. The disheveled look, the Brooklyn accent, the cranky demeanor—it was  only a matter of time before David would play Sanders in an inspired reboot of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

This finally happened on last night's "Saturday Night Live," and it was well worth the wait. David envisions a Bernie Sanders whose own petty neurosis has unintended consequences on his attempt to win the Iowa caucuses. It's exceedingly well done.
