WATCH: Daily Show Smacks Ted Cruz Down Brilliantly

On last night's Daily Show, Trevor Noah slammed GOP candidate Ted Cruz for such awfulness as inviting supporters to a "gun party" following the San Bernardino shooting that left 14 dead.

“Seems like something you’d only do if you’re an asshole” Noah pointed out. 

As it turns out, that sentiment is shared by Cruz's colleagues in the Senate. Noah rolled footage of news anchors discussing just how unpopular Cruz is. 

"They hate him as they have hated no Senator before him!" an MSNBC news anchor says. 

Cruz is so widely reviled, Noah points out, that he might just unite both parties in hatred of him. Watch below:
