Trump Spokeswoman Loves Her Bullet Necklace, but Might Wear a 'Fetus' Necklace Next Time
Pierson, the charming Texas Tea Partier who is riding the Trump ticket to fame as his campaign's telegenic spokesperson, has some interesting ideas about jewelry.
After it was noted that Pierson wore a bullet necklace during a recent CNN appearance, Pierson tweeted that she might choose a different design next time: something fetus-festooned.
Writing on Twitter, Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, asked: “Surely @KatrinaPierson wore bullet necklace on #CNN to bring attention to 90 Americans fatally shot daily #gunsense."
Pierson's tweeted response: “Maybe I’ll wear a fetus next time & bring awareness to 50 million aborted people that will never get to be on Twitter."
So, that's something to look forward to.
Other notable Pierson moments include defending her boss's nonsensical response to a debate question about nuclear weapons with this statement: “What good does it do to have a good nuclear triad if you’re afraid to use it?”
And defending his Islamophobic call to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. with a glib, "So what, they're Muslim."
Trump certainly has elevated the discourse during this election. And clearly, he has an eye for talent.
