As the pundits argue about who won and lost last night's GOP presidential debate, one clear loser emerged: Climate change.

The Republican hopefuls will likely never really debate the climate crisis, at least not during the primaries. Some wondered if the topic would be discussed at all at the debate. And for a few substance- and science-free moments, it was.
