WATCH: Key and Peele's 'TED Talk' Explains Menstruation to a Crowd of Uncomfortable Men

Hidden within Key and Peele's strong season premiere last week was a gem of a sketch that's recently been making the rounds on the internets. It's a rather strange, but terribly funny, "TED talk" about the ignorance men display in the face of female menstruation.

"What if we told y'all", the speech begins in TED's typical provocative question style, "that once a month one-half of the population was in pain and the other half didn't want to hear about it?" The two speakers go on, explaining that when women are having their period "it’s like ‘The Shining’ in the toilet."

As the crowd of men grimace and squirm Key and Peele make it clear, "It's much worse for them than it is for you to hear about it.". It's a clever bit of public service comedy that's peppered with useful advice for the clueless man in all of us.
