WATCH: Jon Stewart Officially Has a Donald Trump Addiction
Thursday night, Jon Stewart tried really hard to wean off his Trump addiction but fell shamefully short. After last night's Trump (semi) respite, Stewart, ever the entertainer, couldn't resist checking in with the orange loudmouth bloviator for some more comedic pearls. As a citizen he knows it's not healthy, but as a comedian, not covering Trump's latest offenses would be a gross dereliction of duty.
Stewart reluctantly started off the bit by focusing on the other, ostensibly legitimate candidates, but eventually broke down. "This guy is so much fun!" Stewart said. "Watching this man run for president is like eating ice cream on a rollercoaster made of blowjobs."
The Daily Show host went on to contrast the dull, "responsible" candidates and their platitude-laden speeches with Trump's right-wing Bullworth routine. After all, who cares about Jim Webb's PR-vetted prose when you have a megalomaniacal billionaire leveling eighth-grade insults at the rest of the GOP field?
"Trump is the candidate version of hot dog crust pizza at Pizza Hut. You didn't ask for it, you've never eaten it, but you really, really want it."
