Jon Stewart Revealed His Post-Daily Show Plans To His Audience Last Night (VIDEO)

As the Jon Stewart era of the Daily Show comes to an end, fans were treated to a uniquely candid preshow Q & A Monday where Stewart opened up about his post-show plans.

When asked if he'll do stand up after his leaving the show, Stewart said, without missing a beat, "That’s how I started and that's, I’m sure that’s I will end". He also commented on his much-publicized New Jersey animal sanctuary.

“The plans for the animal sanctuary is to bring animals there and then trick them into thinking it’s a sanctuary and just have a giant barbecue", Stewart quipped.

August 6th marks the final broadcast of the Daily Show. Stewart's replacement, Trevor Noah, meanwhile is touring the country trying out new material on racism and Ebola.
