The Shockingly Racist Contrast in How the Media Describe Black Protests and White Riots

Last year, AlterNet's Kali Holloway compiled a list of "stupid reasons" that white people have rioted. Holloway points out that unlike the examples of white rioting that she highlights, in the case of black protests, "the media and conservative pundits have displayed far too great a willingness to chalk up the destruction to black pathology without looking at longstanding policies."
