Fox Host Calls Out Terrible Fox Coverage of Baltimore: "Stop Trying to Indict Baltimore"

To the surprise of no one, Fox News has done a horrible job of reporting on the events of Baltimore. However yesterday, one of their infamous hosts actually briefly questioned their predetermined narrative.

"Where are the parents?" Greg Gutfeld asked Shepard Smith while the station aired video of the unrest. "Well, you know, I’ve not been on the phone with them,” Smith shot back. “But if we want to sit here and indict the civil rights community and indict the parents for what we’re watching right now, instead of for now, just covering what happens and then later talk about whose fault it is, because we don’t know whose fault it is.”

When Eric Bolling insisted that no one was being indicted, Smith shot back again. Surely you don’t expect me to know that.” Gutfeld then backed off and claimed his question was rhetorical.

“We’ve got a major American city that has decades of turmoil within this neighborhood,” Smith continued, "It’s what happened between all of that and today that has led to this. There is no escaping that reality.”
