WATCH: Jon Stewart Lambasts Democratic Electoral Strategy as 'D*ckless H. Chickensh&t'

Clearly, the Democratic strategy to cling to the Senate and House seats it had backfired in a big way. Jon Stewart ridiculed it, deservedly, in a segment Thursday night called "Obama and the Pussycrats."

The comedian invoked a historical figure called "Dickless H. Chickensh*t," to describe the Democratic party. Chickensh*t apparently answered the question of how he voted on the Emancipation Proclamation thusly: "Whaaaaat?"

Perhaps the most cynical move of all, said Stewart, was avoiding any decision on the Keystone Pipeline, so that Democrats in Red States who favor the pipeline could attack him for delaying approval, and those in Blue States could attack him for delaying shooting it down.

And what did this pusillanimous style of governing get them? "Nothing," said Stewart. "They all lost!"

Can't wait to see if anyone learns this lesson of history.
