WATCH: Jon Stewart Makes 'Robber Baron' Koch Industries Regret Advertising on His Show

When Jon Stewart discovered that Koch Industries was advertising on his show, he decided to do a little investigating. What is this Koch Industries?

He discovered it is a little behemoth run by two brothers. "Two brothers working together, I like that," Stewart said. "Unless it is the Menendez brothers."

It's worse, of course. As Stewart points out, the Koch brothers are pouring $290 million into elections all over the country through a cleverly masked, intricate web of dark money organizations "to bend the democratic process to their will."

In the interest of countering Koch propaganda, the Daily Show aired its own Koch Industries ad. "We're Koch Industries," it went. "Making your planet warmer, your water more flammable and your birds more lubricated."
